Michael Galat

I am a recent graduate of the psychology department at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. After developing my interpersonal and organizational skills in customer service, I hope to transition to human resources in order to finally support the employees of a business. I am determined to ensure that all my fellow employees have a safe, supportive, and motivating work environment that they enjoy.

I have the necessary skills to take on the varying tasks in a thriving business workplace. My presentation skills would be vital when recruiting and welcoming new employees to a business. At job fairs or when giving an orientation to new employees, my confident and enthusiastic demeanor would leave any job applicant interested and wanting to know more.

Additionally, my interpersonal skills would be critical when engaging with employees. Whenever someone comes to me with an issue, I always try to remain compassionate and work with them to find a solution.

My organizational skills would help me to ensure that all forms and reports are fully completed on time. I am in the habit of checking over paper work many times to make sure that it is done correctly. Organization is vital in order to keep a business system running smoothly.
