"What are you about"? someone once asked me that question and it took me a few minutes to really comprehend what they were asking... I enjoy laughter, music, and technology... I am an artist, designer and educator... I have been teaching for the past 10 years and could not imagine another way of earning a living... I grew up out west and now live midwest... it has been a journey(one of my favorite bands)... I have been a video editor, animator and designer professionally and use experience to be sure you are getting feedback that will help you learn the process of web design but also be employable :) I am a self-proclaimed pop culture junkie and I dwell in the space between art and pop cultures. Lately my work has been short form animation and music video production dealing with ideas and concepts of the grey area that seemingly exists between these two cultures. Using the techniques of comics, modern music video tropes, good ol ' lowbrow humor and a touch of media theory to deconstruct the same grey area my work seems to exist in, forcing a changing of ideas towards the same forms he is working with. As an educator I try to bridge the gap between teaching and the retaining of information.
