Hailing from California, Mara has been involved in the health and wellness industry for over a decade. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California and her Bachelor’s Degree in Biopsychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Along her journey to Health and Wellness Coaching she became a certified strength and conditioning specialist, an orthopaedic certified specialist, and well studied in current coaching techniques.
Mara has danced throughout her life, traveled to many foreign lands, competed in canoeing competitions, studied martial arts, and learned Brazilian Portuguese while living in Brazil.
