My name is Magali, although I also go by Maga ("female that practices magic", in Spanish).
For the longest time, I have felt the need to define, label, and almost set in stone what I do, who I am, and where I am heading. Luckily, I realized we are incredibly complex beings, constantly mutating with many different interests and desires.
So, this page is an attempt to merge all of those “I ams” together.

I am a visual artist, Yin Yoga teacher, aspiring writer, and an English-to-Spanish translator.

+ Curiously, it is the latest owned-up label of “artist” that I feel today represents me the most. These days, I share many of my works as NFTs on Objkt and Zora, as well as on X -linked below-, under the username: LaOtraMaga.

+ There are also years of travel, life, and self-exploration through a camera lens on my personal Instagram.

+ After 10 years of practicing various dynamic styles of yoga, I decided to train in the one that demands almost no movement at all. Very Taurus of me. Yin Yoga is a practice that promotes rest and surrender into stillness while providing deep tissue stimulation and emotional release. It is the perfect complement for our driven, dynamic, daily lives, and proposes a new way of allowing ourselves to inhabit our bodies. I offer an online program, currently only in Spanish, that merges both Yin & Yang energies, movement, and inner exploration: Yoga Raíz.

+ Last but not least, I am a professional English-to-Spanish Translator, and I offer holistic Translation and Localization Services, focusing on the areas of:
