M.G. Piety

M.G. Piety is an associate professor of philosophy at Drexel University in Philadelphia. She received a Fulbright fellowship to Denmark in 1990 and lived and taught in Denmark from 1990-1998. She has worked as a professional translator and written frequently for both the Danish and the American media on the issues of religion, culture, plagiarism, translation, spirituality, and the philosophy of sport. She's appeared on both Danish and American television and been interviewed on Danish radio. Piety is an award-winning author whose articles have appeared in publications as diverse as the Times Literary Supplement, The Journal of Business Ethics and Counterpunch. She's member of the board of directors of the Greater Philadelphia Philosophy Consortium and a certified philosophical counselor.
