Hello, friends and community!
I’m a transmasculine nonbinary Garífuna person with roots in Guatemala, and at 32 years old, I’m celebrating something I’ve worked toward for many years: my top surgery is officially scheduled for July 9, 2026.
Reaching this milestone has taken patience, determination, self-discovery, and a lot of hard work. I’m incredibly excited to finally be taking this step toward feeling more at home in my body and living more fully as myself.
While my surgery is covered, there are still significant out-of-pocket expenses related to co-pays, recovery, transportation, time away from work, post-operative care, and other costs that come with this life-changing procedure. To help ease that financial burden, I’m hoping to raise $2,500.
Every contribution—no matter the amount—helps bring me closer to recovery with less financial stress and more peace of mind. If you’re able to support, I would be deeply grateful. If donating isn’t possible, sharing this fundraiser is also a meaningful way to help.
Thank you for being part of my journey and helping make this dream a reality.
