Mark Gumm
I'm the Africa Director of Projects for World Orphans, a non-profit organization engaged in the prevention, rescue and care of orphans around the world.
During the adoption of my two children from Ethiopia, my eyes were opened to the extreme needs around the world. I want to help, but I want to do so in a way that empowers people and gives them tools to be successful on their own.
That's why I love The AdVenture Project (TAP) and their Kickstart irrigation pump project that is fighting rural hunger by supporting small farmers through these innovative and low cost pumps. These pumps are effectively empowering farmers to lift their own families out of poverty.
That's why I am one.
One of 1000 who are turning their about.me into about so-much-more.
