Mehmet Gunay

Mehmet Gunay is a discretionary trader from Istanbul, Turkey. He graduated magna cum laude from the Smeal College of Business at Penn State with a degree in finance. He has been actively trading the equities market since early 2008 and has been a Series 56 licensed professional trader since 2011. Mehmet co-founded the Smeal Traders Association in 2010 in an effort to create a network of traders at Penn State and to educate those interested in the basics of technical analysis. He later expanded that network by co-founding the College Trading Exchange in 2011 to provide a central resource to all student traders. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Market Technicians Association (MTAEF) and as the college liaison to the Market Technicians Association (MTA).
