My name is Larry Murphy, Jr. I am a Training Specialist for the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General. I provide Leadership Development training in a classroom environment to employees of the federal government. I am a novice Instructional Designer. I develop training modules for newly appointed supervisors and refresher training modules to meet mandated training requirements. I have over 25 years of military training experience and three years of civilian training experience.
Before joining the Department of Defense. I served over 30 years in the United States Marine Corps. I was an instructor/facilitator of various leadership and technical courses for over 20 years. I obtained a Master Training Specialist designation for my instruction and course design expertise.
I am always exploring topices related technology and its' applications to education. In my leisure time, I like watching movies, reading, and online gaming. I utilize Facebook and Skype to stay in contact with my two military kids. I love the game of golf. I have the played in several countries around the world. I play as much as possible to relax and think.
