"When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy'. They told me that I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them that they didn't understand life." -John Lennon

I always say that your smile is your biggest asset. It doesn't matter what type of person you are, a smile is what brings everyone together. There are no language barriers, no cultural boundaries, and certainly no turmoil.

This is what I bring to the table everyday. It doesn't matter if I am having the worst possible day of my life....I will always put a smile on my face, because who knows? I can make someone's day just a little brighter, if not my own. :)

I was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, and currently live in Cary. I graduated from Enloe High School in June of 2012, and currently attend North Carolina Central University. I am double majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice, with a concentration in Juvenile Justice, and I intend to graduate with honors in May of 2016.

I am a member of North Carolina Central University's University Honors Program, with a current cumulative GPA of 3.941. I am also a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. I have also been hand-selected to join Sigma Alpha Pi, a National Honor Society of Leadership and Success, and I plan on joining that during the Fall 2013 semester.

Upon graduation, I hope to secure a job working for the North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice as a Juvenile Court Counselor, specializing in helping juvenile offenders whose personal situations may have lead them down the road to delinquency.
