Matthew Heichemer

One of my strengths is leadership, which to me just means the ability to have people rally around you for a cause. This has been especially helpful in group projects this semester as many kids are struggling to find their identity and scared to speak up and take the rains.

During my curriculum planning I learned to plan in advance and get a general outlook on what my schedule will look like the next few years. It was weird to do but I am glad that it is done because now I know what to expect and can plan for it.

My Ohio State tradition assignment was fun for me to do because it immersed me more deeply into the Ohio State tradition. I learned what made the Mirror Lake jump unique and why it came into existence. Now when my friends ask me why we jump into a pond in November, I can tell them and they might think were less insane.
