When I first moved to New York City in the fall of 1997 I didn’t know a soul. What I did know was that I believed in the strength of community, and the tremendous power of people to accomplish great things through partnership.
Over the years I’ve had the privilege of working with many of the brightest minds and truest hearts in neighborhoods across the five boroughs – building affordable housing, improving environmental sustainability, innovating in education, pushing for consumer protections, supporting civic tech, and using the arts as a tool for expanding the local economy. Whether my partners were nonprofit executives, private sector allies, foundation supporters, elected leaders or local residents, my favorite times (those times when I was the most hopeful about the possibilities) were when we were all talking and planning together.
So, I’m interested in connecting. Things go better. Look me up.
