I consider myself a good writer but it can be a slow start. It takes time for me to focus in and develop the topic to the exact point I want to make. In other words I start off broad in my writing. A whirlwind of ideas flood into my head and I want to find a way to incorporate each one. Though, in my mind I know that this is an impossible task. So I slowly narrow in on my point and begin to weed out the ideas that just won't fit.

So my writing is the funnel of a tornado. The funnel starts off wide and broad, a whirlwind of ideas spinning into my head. As you move down whirlwind, the funnel slowly narrows to the single point.
