Living in Edmonton, Mark is the Director, Vibrant Communities, for Tamarack Institute, effective January 4, 2016.
Before moving to Tamarack he was, for five years, the CEO of Bissell Centre, a century old multi-service organization working with many others to end poverty and homelessness. Mark has a long history of consulting to non-profits and governments around change and innovation and he is an avid (no, not rabid) blogger who also writes fiction, poetry, and exposition.
In 2014, Mark was acknowledged by Tamarack Institute as one of its national thought leaders. In the same year he was appointed to the Mayor of Edmonton's Task Force to Eliminate Poverty (here).
