The Promoter of Mistletoe Munnar, Jo belongs to the third generation of the migrants who have moved from the Central Kerala district of Kottayam( Erstwhile Travancore kingdom) in the early 1930s. Jo is a graduate in Psychology from Adamoson University, Manila, Philippines and also a Certified Hotel Administrator by American Hotel & Motel Association. He has more than 15 years of hospitality exposure with reputed brands like Club Mahindra, Habitat Hospitality, in operations, sales & marketing, administration and HR. He has also managed and rebranded couple of resorts in Munnar. At present Jo is part of team of a Management Service company that operates boutique resorts and Spas. In the home stay venture, Jeena Elizabeth, Jo' wife, post graduate in Mathematics and hails from the city of Kochi and she is very jovial and quick at making friends. She has willingly left teaching maths and will be wearing the mantle of a host learning hospitality services. Mr. Joseph Oommen, Jo's father is a skilled baker of the traditional baking era whose expertise in baking and cooking will be the prime flavoring agent in the unique home-stay project. Mrs. Anna, Joseph's wife also hails from a conservative Syrian Christian family from Kottayam, it is only an added blessing that Mrs. Anna has excellent cooking skills especially in Syrian Christian delicacies. And their grand children Nirmal & Thejas would certainly add rhythm and life to the entire ambience at Mistletoe Munnar.
