Maria Howes

I am a hard-working professional, always on the lookout for new experiences and training to further my knowledge, skills, and abilities, no matter what employment position I'm in at the time.

Much of my educational experience has been to further my pursuits as a clinical counselor for young adults. Due to the economic down-turn, I had to make the decision to put that goal on hold in favor of full-time employment. For the past few years, I have had the privilege of providing academic support to college students and programmatic support to college programs. Rather than just walking the beaten path, I have jumped on and created many opportunities to develop my professional experience in this field, making this path my own.

In my personal life, I fully enjoy creating memorable experiences with my family. We love cooking together and getting our geek on. Most recently, we went to the Rose City Comic Con and the kids absolutely loved being the center of attention in their costumes.
