Mia Rose

Dr. Mia Rose is a writer, relationship therapist and sex coach. As a forensic psychologist, she specialized in working with sexual offenders in Queensland Corrections. She is the past Regional Coordinator for Sex Offenders in Queensland, Australia. Mia also has additional qualifications in Imago relationship therapy, trauma and recovery, child therapy techniques, short-term therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, as well as educational kinesiology and related brain integration techniques. Mia has extensive experience in program facilitation, training, and workshop presentations. She co-authored and co-edited three textbook and two general publications. She was the first prize winner of a national competition for children's books in South Africa. She also contributed a variety of health and well-being articles to women’s magazines in South Africa, including 'Sarie', 'Rooi Rose', 'Die Voorligter', 'Baba en Kleuter,' and served on the “Panel of experts” of 'Baba & Kleuter' magazine.
