Mia Fortune

I am the proud mom of two teens and an Occupational Therapist. I grew up in Europe - a military brat! I love diversity and learning about other cultures. My big thing is "tolerance" and I am politically active. Very liberal by most definitions. I work with people who have disabilities and have learned so much about life from my patients. I spend my free time reading, playing on Polyvore, playing fantasy football and posting to political blogs. I care deeply about human rights and am in awe of the true strength & spirit of my fellow human beings! I love art, photography, graphic design - anything visual. I dislike the religious right, racists and hypocrites. Although it is now a cliche, I do believe in Random Acts of Kindness and try to incorporate good deeds in my daily life.
