Mica Syjuco

Mica Syjuco is the Global Delivery Futures Director at multinational company Avanade, the joint venture between Microsoft and Accenture. In her pivotal role, Mica spearheads initiatives aimed at empowering the organization's vast network of 60,000 professionals with cutting-edge AI technologies, including GitHub Copilot and bespoke GenAI Copilots developed by Avanade's skilled in-house Delivery Engineering Team. For her leadership and proven track record in advancing opportunities for women in technology, she was recognized and included in the Shortlist (Top 10) at the prestigious Women in IT Awards USA for "Woman of the Year" in 2023, and for "Advocate of the Year" in 2023 and 2022.

In her capacity as Global Delivery Futures Director, Mica integrates elements of agility, delivery, and account leadership, along with DevOps practices and next-generation tooling, to craft cohesive strategies aimed at delivering exceptional value to Avanade's clients. Notably, the implementation of GenAI Powered Delivery represents a significant transformation for any organization, and Avanade is at the forefront of leveraging its insights to enhance client outcomes through their AI Assisted SDLC model. Prior to her current role, Mica was the first woman to become Global Head of DevOps and Agile Coaching at the organization.

Mica is a Harvard Business Review Advisory Council member. She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and completed Wharton Executive Education's Leadership and Management Certificate Program.

Mica has been featured as Speaker and Panelist in a number of global engagements such as the international Women in Technology Summit held in Silicon Valley in the United States, Microsoft ALM in Asia, automation conferences in Europe, and Global TechSummit in Seattle, Washington.

For over 18 years, Mica has led the successful delivery of complex product development for multiple Fortune 500 clients. She has a strong expertise in implementing and leading development and delivery processes supporting distributed teams on medium to large-scale enterprise projects.

Mica has the following professional certifications and accreditations: Professional Scrum Trainer (PST) from Scrum.org, Certified SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) from Scaled Agile Inc, Dynamics 365 from Microsoft, AI for Good Specialization from DeepLearning.AI, and AI Applications in Marketing and Finance from University of Pennsylvania.
