Michael Hall

As you've probably figured out by now, my name is Michael Hall. I'm currently a second year Media Production student at Ryerson University. Although I've been making videos since I was about 9 years old, the quality of my videos has greatly increased since being in this program. I've learned how to professionally work with lighting and audio which makes all the difference. I absolutely love film making and am looking to pursue a career in videography. My strongest skills are lighting and editing, but I am also capable of working with cameras, audio equipment and paperwork at a professional level.

This past summer I had the wonderful opportunity to work on a music video for Toronto rapper Seth Dyer. On set I helped with the lighting and general look of the video. I worked very closely with the director to try to communicate his vision to everyone involved. I've also helped out with corporate videography for multiple local businesses. For those videos I worked with both lighting and editing to create a professional looking product.

Although I do have some experience under my belt, I am still fairly new to the industry. However, I do have a flaming passion for videography and I'm enhances my skills every day. I may still be amateur, but I will do everything in my power to make your vision a reality.
