Michael Marshall is the Founder and CEO of
PCONN, a revolutionary community-based ridesharing app designed to help families and loved ones stay connected with individuals who are incarcerated. With a deep personal understanding of the challenges faced by families during incarceration, Michael’s vision is to reduce the barriers to visitation and ensure that more people maintain vital connections with their loved ones behind bars.

Having spent 10.5 years in federal prison, Michael witnessed firsthand the emotional and logistical difficulties families endure when trying to maintain contact with incarcerated individuals. He saw that many people, especially those without reliable transportation, were unable to make visits—often leading to isolation and weakening familial ties. This realization inspired him to create
PCONN, a platform that not only simplifies transportation to correctional facilities but also builds a supportive community around those navigating the criminal justice system.

Before his time in prison, Michael was a successful entrepreneur, owning Luxotic, an exotic car rental company based in Charlotte, North Carolina. His business acumen, combined with his passion for technology and service, laid the groundwork for the development of
PCONN. Michael’s commitment to innovation and community service shines through in the app's mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families affected by incarceration.

In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Michael attended New Horizons Computer Learning College from 2000 to 2002, earning several computer certifications. His technical expertise, coupled with his personal experiences, has driven him to create a platform that brings people together in an industry often overlooked by traditional tech solutions.
