Michael Sherbun is a CEO, behavioral health clinician, author, coach, and speaker whose career has centered on understanding people, leadership, and the conversations that shape both.

With decades of experience in behavioral health and healthcare leadership, Michael has worked with young people and families, led clinical teams, managed hospitals, and served in senior executive roles. These experiences have given him a firsthand view of how communication can influence trust, conflict, accountability, workplace culture, and relationships.

Today, Michael is the founder and CEO of The Navigator and the owner and CEO of Behavioral Health Experts. Much of his current work focuses on The Psychology of Conversations, an approach to understanding what happens beneath the words people exchange. He explores how emotions, assumptions, expectations, timing, authority, and trust can change the way a conversation is heard and understood.

Michael is also the author of Caring for the Caregiver: 8 Truths to Prolong My Career. His interests include leadership development, coaching, mental health, organizational culture, and helping people navigate difficult conversations more effectively.

Outside of his professional work, Michael enjoys coaching basketball, staying active, landscaping, and supporting community mental health initiatives.
