Michael von Platen-Hallermund

Michael von Platen is the CEO & Founder of Atmantara, a Berlin-based AI infrastructure company building enterprise-grade AI-in-a-box solutions for financial institutions. Atmantara enables banks and regulated enterprises to deploy secure, compliant, and scalable AI workloads on-premises and in private environments, focusing on real-world applications such as risk management, fraud detection, payment optimization, and operational intelligence.

Under his leadership, Atmantara has evolved into a rapidly scaling AI infrastructure provider in the financial sector, recently securing a major strategic investment/acquisition transaction that values the company at approximately $88M, underscoring its momentum in delivering compliant AI systems for regulated industries.

In addition to his role as CEO, Michael is an active startup mentor and investor, supporting early-stage teams and companies working in blockchain and decentralized technologies.
