Michael Atkinson

A television professional since 2000, I'm currently the Manager of Broadcasting / Producer for the Green Bay Packers. As Manager of Broadcasting, I am responsible for hiring and mentoring the production staff, executing strategic vision of senior management; including the preparation of and oversight of the television budget which also includes purchasing equipment and managing the team's production facility. As Producer I'm responsible for all video content produced for television, web and social media platforms.

Prior to joining the Packers I spent eight years working as Senior Producer at SportsTime Ohio / Fox Sports Ohio in Cleveland. I joined SportsTime Ohio in 2006 as the network was preparing to launch. During my tenure I created successful franchises and series of shows, including live events, for the network's primary partners; the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, Mid-American Conference and Ohio High School Athletic Association.

Working to create programming from concept to delivery provided not only a rare insight as to the business, marketing and sales aspects of television but it has also equipped me with the skills needed to manage and produce live event, studio based and post-produced programming.In addition to being able to line produce in studio or on remote, I’ve also served as lead producer on special projects and have a wealth of experience managing live event crews on remote.
