I am broadly interested in theoretical information retrieval models and their practical applications. My current research focuses on studying and improving retrieval with verbose natural language queries.

This research combines insights from information retrieval, natural language processing and statistical machine learning, and has a potential to revolutionize the way people search on the web, in the enterprise and on mobile devices.
