Michael Blumhardt

My name is Michael Blumhardt and I am currently a sophomore at Valdosta State. I have lived up in Woodstock Georgia my entire life. My hobbies include hanging out with friends, swimming, playing football and cooking. I know cooking does not really fit in there but it is a huge passion of mine! I plan on mastering how to make sushi this year and learning to cook other Asian cuisine.
I chose Valdosta State because everyone I knew was either going to UGA or Georgia Southern. I didn't have the brain capacity to get into UGA and I sure as hell was not going to Southern where everybody else from my school was going, So I chose this small university instead and have loved it from the moment I got here. I love to travel and have been to many unique countries. Places including Hawaii, Germany and England. My dream place to go would be Tokyo, Japan. I am currently majoring in Criminal Justice and I am praying that I can find a job that would allow me to travel the world. There is nothing better than seeing new scenery and meeting the different cultures of the world. I am looking forward to another great year at Valdosta!
