I graduated from Marist College with a BA in Psychology in 1982 and then attended the University at Albany. During my undergraduate education I also went to Fairfield University in Connecticut, and I spent my 3rd year abroad at the L’Ecole des Psychologues Practiciens in Paris, France.
I taught psychology at Marist College. Courses taught include Introductory Psychology, Research Methods and Statistics for Psychology, History and Systems of Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and Graduate Program Evaluation.
I have also taught an online course in Educational Psychology in the Marist graduate school.
I love technology, and I love to explore how technology can be utilized in the teaching and learning process. It is out of that passion that I decided to start my own podcast, called The Psych Files. I try to release an episode about 2x month and always about how psychological theory can be seen in our everyday lives. The tone of podcast episodes is informal so that everyone who is interested in the field can find something of interest.
On the personal side, my life is kept pretty busy creating mobile apps, along with family - my wife and twin teenagers. I also love for the theatre and music. It all keeps the creative juices flowing.
