Michael Brownell

Born in Topeka, Ks., moved to Aurora, Il. in 1963. Except for a brief residency in Tewksbury, Mass. '67-'68, have lived in Northeast Il. most of my life. Studied Music at Waubonsee Community College (A.A. '82), Kansas State University and Illinois State University. Played in bands in the Chicagoland area from 1981-1994. Currently the bass player for Christ Community Christian Church.

My Sweetheart gave me a banjo for Christmas '12 and I am currently trying to learn how to play it. Finger-picking is NOT my forte...

Hobbies include collecting/recording DVD movies and Traveling.
