Michael Colosimo

Colosimo has consulted across multiple industries from federal government to clean tech startups. He has earned degrees in mechanical engineering and business administration. He has managed hundred million dollar space development programs for the US Air Force, consulted for National Agencies, supported the development and fundraising efforts of a number of startups in the Los Angeles area and is an active member, both strategically and operationally for two non-profits focused on youth education and outdoor experience. He is a co-founder and managing partner of Sprout(dm), a design studio focused on exploring the integration of architecture, planning and art. He is also a co-founder and managing partner of a real estate investment fund focused on single and small multi-family residential properties. Before turning his fulltime attention to thrdPlace, he led an effort to launch a new urban design consultancy on the west coast of the US for the London based Design firm, Buro Happold Inc.
