Software Architect and Entrepreneur in Brownsburg

Michael Dowden is a technology professional with more than 23 years experience working with more than 60 companies. As a Software and Business consultant Michael helps his clients leverage technology to solve their business problems. He combines his software development expertise with his business process knowledge to deliver usable, scalable, and secure web-based solutions.

He stays active in the industry serving as the Organizer for the Indianapolis Java User Group, attending and speaking at conferences and meetups, and publishing the occasional blog. In 2015 Michael's book Programming Languages ABC++ was published by Inedo and launched through a successful Kickstarter Campaign.

He has been an entrepreneur his entire life, offering his first software product for sale on AOL in 1992. Since that time Michael has operated several businesses and founded 5 startups. He loves working with and advising other startups and is always working on developing his ideas.

As a community leader Michael was honored to be appointed to the Redevelopment Authority of the Town of Brownsburg and he also serves on the board of his homeowner's association. He is also an Assistant Organizer for the Brownsburg CoWork meetup, working on building an entrepreneurial community in the Town of Brownsburg.
