I'm Michael Coleman, I'm twenty-two and I currently live in Atlanta, Georgia. Pursuing the profession of acting has been a thrill my entire life. At its core the aspect of acting that I live for is the voice and recognition it gives people and their stories. Whether it's based on historical events or it's a story that been brewing in someone's head for years, I'm there to make that story come alive.

Meisner, Stanislavsky, Brecht, Hagen are examples of teachers that I pull my techniques from. Therefore naturally I need a strong understanding of these principles that these brilliant men & women have created to make modern acting what it is today. For much more than entertainment, I need my character, the entire piece, and the message to move people into action. When someone leaves a performance with a goal to make the world a better place for the present and the future, an actor has truly done their job.

From portraying a solider in the Congo looking for his cousin (Ruined) to an estranged son looking for his place in life (Pippin), putting 100% into my characters is not a goal but a necessity.
