Michael started his career as an actor after being invited by a friend to an audition, he ended up booking the job. After that he has continued to work in film, television and theater. After setting up his own educational theater company 'R.A.P' (Responsibility and Awareness Programme) in 2007 in conjunction with the 'Tricycle Theater' in Kilburn, he now runs an educational film company 'Repertoire'. Michael has written, directed and produced a number of shorts and is constantly writing feature projects under his writing company 'The One Man Writers Club'. At the moment is in talks regarding two of his scripts "El Salvador" and "Light" and a 6 part Television drama "Free At Last". Michael is truly an artist with a burning passion for film "My films are more about the audience watching them than they are about the characters on the screen being watched". In a world that is always evolving and changing, the power of Art remains as dynamic today as it has always been, and it is the Truth of this Art that permeates through the work of 'Poiema Picture House' and Michael Kofi.
