As one of top-3 graduates Michael was invited to join the Institute of General Physics with the Academy of Sciences (the net of national academic research entities, the job there is considered the most prestigious).

MK was building his career through the ranks in various departments while studying at the Financial Academy under the Government of Russian Federation. Michael graduated with the Bachelor in Banking, his top position at the Alfa-Bank was the Head of FX Desk at the Treasury. He was also appointed as the Board Member of the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange Derivative Section (now MOEX). MK moved to Canada twenty years ago through the program for high skilled workers and made the British Columbia his new home.

Michael was involved in internet savvy communities, worked on various software projects, mostly related to web servers and databases. On the financial industry side, Michael passed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) exam as well as the Personal Insurance exams and worked for the investment firm as the Financial Security and Personal Insurance Advisor.
