Hi, I am so glad you are here. You can get to know me a little better and what I do.

First, I am a Dad with seven kids...well ok really a mom...but either way, I love my kids. Some were from a prior marriage, some are my step kids and one is "adopted". No matter how you slice our family, we are not traditional, except we love, fight, play, work and try to help each other like every other family on the planet.

I have a wonderful partner. We share so many interests and enjoy each other's company. We love antiquing together, movies (old --that's for you honey..LOL! - and new), theatre, traveling, dining out, friends, and together time. I have learned so much and love sharing this thing called a crazy life with him.

I love my Rodan and Fields skin care consulting business. It is a great way to earn some extra cash, so that we have some funds to do the things we like to. I work a normal job, and do that on the side for our "play money".

My hobby (when I have time ...which is not often...LOL) is quilting. I love stroking fabric, cutting it up and remaking something that is beautiful. A friend of mine told me once that my talent and strength was the "bag of tricks" I have to meet any quilting challenge. I love to try and learn new things in the quilting world. I DO NOT define myself by the "type of quilting" that I do. I sometimes like to create art quilts, sometimes traditional bed quilts, sometimes wall hangings. You will find however, that most quilts (no matter the style) have an "Asian flare" to them. I find Asian fabrics to be rich in color, bold in texture and beautiful by design. So I tend to gravatate towards thouse.
