Michael K. Tateishi

For over 30 years, Michael K. Tateishi has devoted his career to the representation of clients in personal injury matters in Hawaii. He handles personal injury matters including auto and truck accidents, dental and medical malpractice, product liability, and wrongful death matters.

A native of Hawaii, Mr. Tateishi began his legal career with the Office of the Public Defender in Honolulu, representing criminal defendants. He excelled as a Public Defender, and after only three years was promoted to Supervising Attorney for the County of Maui. Mr. Tateishi then shifted his focus from criminal to civil law when he began working for a Honolulu personal injury law firm. He later opened the Law Office of Michael K. Tateishi, representing victims of personal injury. Mr. Tateishi now focuses solely on representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters, as a principal at Tateishi & Pascual.
