Michael’s real estate career started in Shanghai, China where he worked as a relocations and residential property director for Shanghaifinder, ChinaReloSH and Shanghai Properties.

Prior to his career in real estate Michael performed as the principal trumpet of the Shanghai Philharmonic and section member of other orchestras throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Michael’s under graduate, graduate, and post graduate studies were completed at The University of Rochester (BM), UCLA, the Curtis Institute of Music and the Interlochen Arts Academy.

Born in Canada to Dutch parents, Michael is conversant in Mandarin, French and Dutch. Michael is also the co-founder of Realty Backed Investments LLC.
