As a kid, I was a terrible student. My voice was loud, I was social, and I passed time at school by being the class clown. Little did I know that those qualities would help me when I found myself in front of the classroom rather than in one of those cramped desk-chairs. My voice can now carry across the room so every student can hear me. Public speaking is no longer a fear. I can confidently proclaim that many of my students call me their "favorite" teacher.

As much as I enjoy teaching, though, my eyes will not avert from any other novel opportunity life could throw at me.
