My name is Michael Adewumi. I was born in Boston Massachusetts and raised in Nigeria. I'm a Senior year student at North Carolina Central University. I'm 2014 Bachelor of Arts degree candidate in Political Science with concentration in Public Administration and Homeland Security. I will like to become subject matter expert on issue of governance, security and emergency management. Few areas of governance and security close to my mind are revenue development for local and state government, supply chains, logistics and transportation management, mitigation and prepardness towards any manmade or natural disaster or possible terrorism, public safety, and fight against human trafficking which is modern day slavery.

I look forward to get my Masters degree either in Public Policy, Homeland Security or International Relations.

In summer 2013, I was one of the NCCU students who participated in Duke University Ethnographic field research, history and politics of Ghana, in Ghana West Africa, through Duke in Ghana study abroad scholarship program.

I love going to the movies, I like watching TV drama that are based on politics, law and law enforcement such as "The Good Wife", "Law and Order series", "CSI (New York & Miami)", "Chicago PD", "House of Cards" and "Scandal".
I'm a social media political pundit. I believe I'm conversant, forthright and direct.
