My career has always been driven by a love of storytelling, a commitment to supporting creative talent, and a passion for delivering high-quality content to audiences around the world. Most recently, I founded and led Carrington Media, a company dedicated to helping others create outstanding content for television. With years of international experience, I became known for commissioning exceptional live-action and animated series and films, earning the trust of industry peers along the way.

Before launching Carrington Media, I was Director of Content at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), where I oversaw television networks, national radio, and on-demand services such as ABC iview. During that time, I worked with talented teams to develop a diverse and impactful slate of programming across scripted and specialist content. Some of the standout productions from my tenure include Bluey, Mystery Road, Total Control, and The Newsreader, all of which resonated deeply with audiences in Australia and beyond.

Beyond my executive roles, I’ve always been passionate about nurturing creative talent. Mentoring and collaborating with emerging voices has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. Having worked across both public service broadcasting and the independent production sector, I’ve gained a broad perspective on what it takes to create content that connects with diverse audiences globally.

I’ve also been a dedicated supporter of the wider creative community. I’m proud to be a Founding & Lifetime Patron of the Children’s Media Foundation and an active member of organizations such as BAFTA, the Royal Television Society, the International Academy of Arts & Sciences, the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts, and Screen Producers Australia.

Now retired, I look back with gratitude at the incredible people I’ve worked with and the projects I’ve been part of. It’s been a privilege to play a role in shaping the media landscape and to have supported so many talented individuals on their creative journeys.
