I was a 38 year old roofer bound and determined not to become a 40 year old roofer. With that goal in mind I attended Full Sail University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Business in August of 2012.

Now I'm well into my 40s and am enjoying my career as an automobile sales & lease consultant. I'm proud to say that I sell cars, and not just any cars, the very best cars: Toyotas. I get so much more job satisfaction now. When I finished a roof the reaction was "meh", but when someone drives of in a new car there is an incredible sense of joy that I get to share in every day.

I am a father and comedian, much to the chagrin of my children. This has instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility tempered with the ability to not take myself too seriously. That is not to say that everything is a joke, but a certain amount of levity can be useful even in the most stressful situations and often helps improve creativity and productivity.

20 years in the construction industry instilled in me a strong work ethic, a deep desire to climb a different type of ladder, the will to succeed and the wisdom to appreciate the contributions and sacrifices of all those who helped me get there.
