Michael Graf
Filmmaker Writer Director
I got my first job in Hollywood at Disney Studios because of an earthquake. I got my second job in Hollywood because of a klutz move at a salad bar.
I’m now a working member of the DGA, a produced screenwriter, I’ve been short listed for the Academy’s prestigious Nicholl Fellowship, won top screenwriting honors in Cannes, Paris, Nassau and LA, directed two Super Bowl TV campaigns, won an Emmy Award, and was named a “Top 25 Screenwriter To Watch” by the International Screenwriters Association.
My most recently produced screenplay, GREEN AND GOLD, stars Craig T. Nelson and Brandon Sklenar and won the audience award at the Austin Film Festival.
I also co-founded the Wisconsin Screenwriters Symposium and the Wisconsin's Own Screenwriting Competition with the University of Wisconsin Comm Arts Department.
I’m still prone to occasional klutz moves, but am grateful for every opportunity to tell a good story.
