Michael Graf
Filmmaker Writer Director
I got my first job in Hollywood at Disney Studios because of an earthquake. I got my second job in Hollywood because of a klutz move at a salad bar.
I’m now a working member of the DGA, a produced screenwriter, I’ve been short listed twice for the Academy’s prestigious Nicholl Fellowship, won top screenwriting honors in Paris, directed two Super Bowl commercial campaigns – for Jimmy Johns and Dow Chemical, won an Emmy Award, was named a “Top 25 Screenwriter To Watch” by the International Screenwriters Association and have won top screenwriting honors around the world including Paris, Nassau and Chicago.
Produced and Optioned scripts include: WINTER OF FROZEN DREAMS, VENICE OF AMERICA, THROWING HAMMERS and GREEN AND GOLD.
I've also got a side gig teaching screenwriting workshops at the Madison Writers' Studio and the University of Wisconsin Screenwriting Symposium.
I’m still prone to occasional klutz moves, but am grateful for every opportunity to tell a good story.
