I am a former US ARMY paratrooper and combat verteran. Now I work as a professional firefighter. In 2005 I deployed to New Orleans to assist fire depts. with operations and damage assessments. I am a fire instructor and water rescue instructor at the state level and I oversee a strike team of ambulances that can be deployed nationwide in response to a major disaster. In 2011 I suffered a traumatic brain injury that nearly took my life. I now speak publicly about my recovery and motivate others to stay motivated and reach goals in their recovery. I am a huge advocate for brain injury awareness and military veterans. I am motivated by being challenged, and I am AWESOME at turning challenge into success!!
