Michael Stenmark

My name is Michael Stenmark.

I am a storyteller, creator, entrepreneur and problem shooter and I don’t mind extreme challenges and a good bunch of missions and problems to solve. I am from the snowy north of Sweden, son of a Naval Captain and I love Hockey, Games and Dinosaurs.

While the business cards, that I have had over the years, identifies me with titles such as “Founder,” “Creative Director,” “CEO,” etc., I am, most fundamentally, a storyteller.
I am driven by the lust of creating, telling stories, to surprise myself with new worlds and characters.

My home and studio sits just outside Stockholm in a house built around 1700, next to a little pink castle.
In my work I have the great opportunity to travel the world.
I have been working a lot in the whole of Europe, the US and been living in China and traveling and working a lot in Japan.

During the last 27 years I have been part of the global games and media industry traveling the world, creating fantastic products and managing creative teams, living abroad as well as in Stockholm.
My talent and skilled is to conceptualize fantastic visions, be they a story for children or an online strategy for a media company, and to design these dreams so they may be shared and others can make them their own.
