Hi I’m Michael, currently studying at Seneca for Digital Media Arts. Before deciding to become a graphic designer I spent countless hours in my free time learning the fundamentals of design (typography, color theory etc…) and the ins and outs of photo/video editing software not because I thought I was going to make a career out of it but simply because I enjoyed it.
It started off when I saw an animated lyric video (kinetic typography) for a band I really liked, I instantly knew that I had to have a go at one myself, pretty confident that I could do one better. Struggling to make my next video better than my last — 3 years later I find myself with a YouTube channel filled with lyric videos and a seat at Seneca going into the career professionally :)
