I'm a children's nurse first and foremost but I joined the University of Salford as a Lecturer in Children and Young People's Nursing in 2009. I am also a part-time doctoral student researching neonatal end of life and bereavement issues. I teach some broad children's nursing areas but enjoy specialsist teaching on palliative and end of life care and neonatal intensive care. I am a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
I am one of the co-ordinators of the Greater Manchester Research in Child Health (RiCH) group for the RCN.
