Michael Anthony Pegues

I am a self-taught, self-made, well known but still struggling artist born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I graduated from High School Redirection and attended Nassau Community College. My first major show, "Prince Michael's Neverland: The Measure of Artist: Michael Anthony Pegues," was at FB Gallery in New York in 2012. I just sold out my first show abroad -- at Le 4 Pareti in Napoli, Italy. In addition to painting huge exhuberantly colorful canvases in acrylics, I often incorporate objects I find in the street into my art, and I design clothing.
