Michael Antonello

Michael J. Antonello (michaelantonello.com) has spent more than four decades building a successful career in different industries. Currently a principal of Golden Valley Financial (gvfadvisors.com) in Minnesota, he provides affluent individuals and business owners with services relating to life insurance, such as non-qualified deferred compensation and wealth transfer strategies. A creative individual, Mr. Antonello has also been heavily involved in music, having studied at both the Interlochen Arts Academy and the Curtis Institute of Music. He continued to be active as a violinist until 2012. His success in music enabled him to purchase two of the greatest violins ever made and record upwards of 18 critically acclaimed CDs. Prior to entering the insurance business in 1982 he was Concertmaster for the Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra and prestigious Aspen Music Festival, as well as playing with the Minnesota Orchestra and the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. Michael J. Antonello has also developed a fine taste for art. He has been collecting art for several years and owns Antonello & Associates Fine Art, a gallery opened in 1998. As an art collector, he focuses primarily on American Impressionism and female post-war Abstract Expressionist painters.
