Michael Hamilton was born in Concord, North Carolina in 1984 oldest of two boys raised by single parent. Throughout life he was a quiet person but always found his through Art. As a child he began drawing and become intrigued by the illustration, design and portraiture it was not until 2004 he was introduced into the medium of paint. Michael was captured by the limitless variations of color paint introduced to his subject matter, from this day forward he continued to grow as an artist by experimenting with color theory, shapes and different textures to enhance his artwork. In the year 2011 he started working with non-profit Brighter Dayz organization and Charlotte Mecklenburg Library systems, where he taught students the fundamentals of drawing and color theory. Also within the year 2011, Michael found his very own niche in portrait painting.
