Viridity Software was the leading provider of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) software. The company's agent-less EnergyCenter software was the industry's most innovative, easy-to-use and cost effective solution for monitoring, optimizing and managing data center space, power and cooling as they dynamically relate to IT assets and their utilization. EnergyCenter relies on the company's Datacenter Genome Database (GxDB) to quickly and easily map power to utilization for datacenter assets without the use of agents or installed components. Viridity's IP was acquired by the Schneider Electric brand APC by in 2011. During his time at Viridity, Michael oversaw the expansion of the GxDB from under 1000 assets to an industry leading database containing over 9000 IT assets.
Before joining Viridity Michael A Siciliano worked as a manager in the Hospitality Services industry.
Michael is active person who appreciates good food, humor, and being outdoors. He likes to relax, but sometimes find it hard to do because he is driven to experience and explore everything that Boston, the world and life has to offer. Some of his frequent activities include biking, sailing, dining out, cooking and an occasional obstacle race. As an engineer He spends a lot of time thinking about how things work, ways to make things better, and future ventures.
