I'm a software developer with over 20 years of experience doing everything from bourne shell scripting to writing software that interfaces with banks. I've worked in the banking, manufacturing, telecommunications, law, and entertainment sectors. I started out doing Cobol but quickly moved to Windows SDK programming because that was the cool thing back in 1993.

Over the years I've worked on a variety of projects(two tier, three tier, client server, web 1.0, web 2.0)in Unix, OS2, and Windows but today I'm focusing mostly on creating web based solutions for users that were still using spreadsheets to do their work. I prefer building these solutions using newer technolgies like Node.js and Angular.js with MongoDB and Riak backends.
